Pirate Polish The Witching Hour over American Apparel Coney Island

This is a layering combo I've been dying to try out, and I'm glad I finally did! I love how this glitter combination looks over a stark pastel pink; it really stands out (especially the shredded metallic glitter!). I think I like it even better than the insta-galaxy nails manicure featuring The Witching Hour over OPI's Every Month Is Oktoberfest

What do you think of this combination? Isn't it magical? ;)

The Witching Hour is part of the Pirate Polish Halloween Collection and can be purchased via the Pirate Polish Etsy store (I do ship internationally, as well!). You can also check Pirate Polish out on Facebook.

  3. Yes much better contrast this time around. I think this would look awesome over an orange too. Navy and aqua complement orange very well. I like how the glitters aren't too crowded too! AWESOME!

    1. I did like the way the shimmer played with the glitter in that manicure, but with this one the glitter stands out a lot better... tough call, haha.

  7. I really like the combination! You're right, the glitter really pops against the pastel pink base. :-)

  8. This is a cute combo! But I like them both the same. Sometimes I like a mani where the glitter doesn't stand out as much. Other days not so much!

    1. Yeah, definitely different styles- I kind of wish I'd slapped a matte topcoat over this before I took it off, just to see how it changed things (although I think the effect would be more dramatic on a darker base).

  9. I don't think I can decide between the two, they're both so pretty!
