Today I wanted to share with you a quick swatch of the lacquer that became my last summery pedicure of the season. This is Butter London Disco Biscuit, a gorgeous hot pink jelly with lots of fine blue shimmer in it. This was a long-time lemming of mine, so I'm happy to say I finally got my hands on it.
I'll leave you with a couple pictures I took over the summer; the first was taken late in the evening when I was vacationing at the lake, and the second was taken early one summer evening from my balcony when the newly risen moon just appeared over the horizon.
As summer draws to a close, I hope all of you had a good one! Are you looking forward to fall?
stunning :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteIt is a beautiful polish!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree- thanks, Katie!
DeleteAh, don't say it like summer is over! I'm still in denial. :D It's a gorgeous color!
ReplyDelete~ Yun
Hahaha, sorry Yun! I guess once I see the leaves begin to change colour, even if it's only a couple of them, I immediately think "it's Fall"!
DeleteI recently got this little gem myself, but it's soooo annoying that the camera cannot pick up that amazing play in the glitters, including the blue - it's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt is! I think the blue shimmer is quite unique. I don't think I've seen another polish where the blue is so evident.
DeleteA jelly! Love jellies. I hope I can find this at Ulta's Butter sale this month! It is sad to see summer go....
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I got this on sale myself, although it was at a local clothing boutique that carries them.
DeleteAw the Summer ending post makes me sad! I'm not ready yet! Oh wait, I live in California so it'll still feel like Summer for another few months lol. I loooove Disco Biscuit! It's really perfect for the toes!
ReplyDeleteHaha, sorry for the summer ending post, but once it hits September it always feels like Fall to me. Even though summer technically has a couple weeks left. And you lucky girl, living in California- north of the 49th parallel we'll have snow before Hallowe'en and it'll stick around for 7 months. *sigh*
DeleteWow snow so soon! I've only been in snow once, and I was not a happy camper! I mean it was fun at first, but then it just got annoying because I was all cold and wet after...no bueno.
DeleteHahaha. Mostly our snow if quite a "dry" snow, the kind that is powdery, and doesn't sink into your clothing, thankfully. You can mostly brush it off your boots when you go inside. But yeah, I don't think I can recall a year when we don't have snow before Halloween. Mostly, it seems to happen Halloween night, haha. Seriously, as a kid we always designed our costumes around a snowsuit. :P
Deletesuch a pretty color, it may or may not find its way into my basket at the Ulta sale... Ugh, I refuse to believe fall is coming!
ReplyDeleteThis was a sale item for me- glad I managed to finally get my hands on it! And maybe that's one good thing about the end of summer... the end of summer sales? ;)
DeleteBeautiful!! One of my first BL's! Love wearing it on my toes :D
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that I'm doing it right! ;) It definitely makes a nice pedicure.
DeleteThis is so gorgeous!!! I have been meaning to pick this one up for awhile now, I think you've tossed me over the edge. I MUST HAVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteHahah, always happy to be of service. ;)
Deleteoh Lord, beautiful pictures and beautiful polish too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lydz- I'm so glad you liked the pictures!
