Lynnderella - Love, Lace, and Lilacs

Tonight I have another layering combination with Essie Mojito Madness- this time I want to show you Lynnderella Love, Lace, and Lilacs.

Love, Lace, and Lilacs is a mixture of white glitters (small glitter, hexagonal glitter, bar glitter, square glitter) in a clear base. It looks alright over Mojito Madness, but I think this would really shine over a pale pastel colour, maybe a very light lavender. I'll definitely be trying that next time.

And I must be channeling Adriana of Liquor, Lube and Lipstick, because I couldn't resist sharing a drink picture with you. I thought this bottle of Absinthe was a fitting companion to a green-and-white manicure!

What do you think of Essie Mojito Madness paired with Lynnderella Love, Lace, and Lilacs?

    1. Thank you, Jacqueline! I love layering a topcoat over an existing manicure- freshens it up for another day.

  5. I love it over the green, I love anything green lol. Too bad that I'll probably never own a Lynnderella cause this really is a pretty little number.

  6. Very pretty glitter! It looks great over Mojito Madness, but I see your point about a pastel shade, maybe a mint shade? How was the absinthe, never tried it but curious.

    1. I think a mint shade would be lovely, too. I'll have to do some experimentation in the future! And I was actually visiting family when I raided the liquor cabinet and spotted the absinthe for a manicure photo opp- but in the end I opted for delicious, delicious bourbon. I have tried absinthe before, though, and it's an herbal-ish/anise flavoured drink. I'm not so much a fan of that style (Chartreuse makes me wretch!).

  7. I second that question! What does absinthe taste like? Maybe we'll have to get together and have some during one of our nail polish gatherings...although it's probably a good idea if we hold off on the absinthe until after we've done our nails. :)

    1. Haha, as mentioned above, it's a anise-flavoured herbal liquor. Not really a fan, to be honest. And while I don't have any absinthe at my place, I do have a rather well stocked liquor cabinet right now! Let's plan to get together and have a few... sometime soon? It sounds like fun! And yes, lol, we'll definitely do the nail painting first. :P

  8. This is probably the only Lynnderella polish that I understand the hype for! I really love this! The first picture almost looks like you did a white-green gradients and added the glitter on top...which is gorgeous.

    2. I see what you mean- maybe I should try a real gradient as a base for layering this!
