Zoya FeiFei

After yesterday's post about Gosh Galaxy, I thought Zoya Fei Fei might be an appropriate polish to share. It has the same dense shimmery metallic finish, but has a steely blue base instead of brown. It also has a tremendous amount of gold (and purpley-pink) shimmery flecks in it. Very pretty.

What do you think of Zoya FeiFei? Given the choice, would you opt for FeiFei or Gosh Galaxy?

  1. When I first heard about this polish, I started trying to research the origin of the name.

Fei Fei literally means fat fat in Chinese and as a kid, I grew up watching shows starring a Chinese comedian who was nicknamed Fei Fei. I have no idea who gave her that name but this was what everyone called her and she didn't seem to mind. She seemed like a very genuine person and from what I remember, I enjoyed her shows.

Needless to say, this colour would have suited her.

    1. Very interesting- I had no idea what "Fei Fei" meant; sometimes Zoya chooses some unconventional colour names, and didn't think much beyond that. Thank you for these reflections!

  2. This is stunning but if I had to choose I would go with Gosh Galaxy. The Whovian in me will want any polish that reminds me of the doctor.

    1. Fair enough! You must be happy- a lot of polish makers are coming out with Dr Who themed collection as of late!
